n 1866, Matìas Pujadas opened a small workshop in Inca, Mallorca, where he began producing tailor-made shoes, a family tradition that has lasted for six generations. A generation later, his son Mateo Pujadas, following in his father's footsteps, opened one of the first Goodyear shoe factories in the Balearic Islands. Later his grand-nephew José Albaladejo Pujadas, thanks to the experience gained working with the best cobblers in Florence, founded one of the largest shoe companies in Spain. The Carmina shoes are carefully worked on by Goodyear and completed after no less than twenty days. Starting again, just like once, from a shape shaped in the wood. Not only that: every cut of leather (the precious and expensive Shell Cordovan of the best quality, that of the Horween's tannery) is done by hand, shoe for shoe, like a good part of the assembly. The company manufactures men's shoes for all occasions, combining classic models with more contemporary styles: from classic Oxford shoes to those in alligator leather with the finest details, to contemporary Chelsea boots
